It was early 1994, and my newsletter publishing and computer collecting were in full swing. I was having a blast and I was having some good success with my own home-brewed media campaign too. I was constantly sending out printed and emailed press releases. I lived in El Paso, TX, and one day I was contacted by a young journalist about being interviewed for an article in Texas Monthly magazine. How exciting that was, a real journalist showed up and he showed up with a professional camera too. I still think this is the best article ever written about myself, not that there’s been that many. The writer really captured my enthusiasm and sincere enjoyment of sharing. I’m feeling that again - it’s so great to be sharing.
